Preparing for the session
When children are apart of the session, make sure you tell them ahead of time and get them excited with the thought of dressing up. Also don't be afraid to include incentives for good behavior - the session should be lots of fun. I'm extremely patient and I'm a mom of young ones, too which helps me throughout my photography.
What do we wear?
Well the million dollar question is here! I know it can be overwhelming planning this piece but I'm here to help. Depending on the season, and location the wardrobe may vary but please don't hesitate to discuss with me. Simply, plan ahead and make sure all clothes are ironed and neat.
Extras...
Make sure to bring snacks for your little ones so they can take a quick break if need be. Also, a second pair of clothes is a good idea. But most of all, be ready for some fun, laughs and a great couple hours together.
Do you pose the family?
This is my favorite part, my creative side! I love to get more non posed photos however I will definitely capture a wide variety of poses and expressions. I also ask every client to make sure if I did not get a specific pose or photo that they share that with me to get every shot.

How long to receive the digital pictures?
There is always a reason to have photos and I love everything about that! Just a quick reminder, busy season for family sessions, is throughout September - December.
I have a quick turn around time for photos. Depending on my schedule during that time period it can fluctuate between 3-5 business days or up to 2 weeks. This is generally discussed with you immediately.
